PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

what stays and what fades away

the silence in-between
what i thought and what i said

Merete tilted her head slightly in interest as she listened to the stranger’s explanation. So he was here to see Jetta – suddenly the similarities in the appearance seemed a little more relevant, but before she could consider her suspicions any further, however, they were interrupted.

A smaller, gold and white mare came marching in quite determinedly, her expression creased in clear annoyance and her words were harsh and clipped when they followed. Merete had yet to be acquainted with Oswin personally, but it was obvious from her entrance that this was one of her fellow sisters here in the Peak.

Having not been established in the Peak for very long, Merete did not feel like she could contradict the other mare, even if her own approach would have been a little less brash. Instead, she turned her attention to the words the pair shared instead.

“Do you two know each other?” she asked, her amber eyes flicking from one to another as she waited for an explanation.
