Persephone understands now that Shamwari had reasoning behind his actions, which has comforted her somewhat, but she is still a little wary that he might cause further trouble with other herds. She wants to be his ally, however, hence she doesn't want to argue with him especially when he's already agitated, and she is going to continue to give him her support and leave him to his own affairs, she is merely curious/slightly worried as to where that is going to lead.
Sorry if that wasn't clear, I thought they got something out of their conversation - or Persephone did anyway, and their relationship for the future concerns only their behaviour towards each other from now on in her mind, but she isn't sorry for confronting him to find out what she needed to know because it concerned her.
