He blushed at her words, his ears perking up before laying back across his skull as he looked away sheepishly. But there was a hint of a grin tugging at the corners of his lips, and despite his rejection of some sort of kingly title, Winchester had to admit that it was something else to have someone believe that about him. Not to mention the ever-present fluttering in his heart every time that he looked at her. She was conniving, coy, mature, and perhaps a bit vain, but she couldn't be any more perfect in his eyes. He looked up at her again, smiling stupidly for a moment before letting his expression settle into something more mature and befitting of his company. Her acknowledgement of his words only solidified that thus far, they had led two very different lives.
But, perhaps, they could show each other a little bit of each. It excited him more than he could possibly let on, his tail waving in rapid arcs against the ground. "That's.... that's... well, that's great!" Winchester said with a toothy grin. He rose to his paws, before blushing again and nearly falling over as she continued. She... she wanted to go now? In a million years, he never could have imagined that he would be so interesting as to capture the attention of anyone, much less someone so beautiful and mature. The boy struggled with the idea that what he did and the life he lead were of no merit to anyone but himself, though perhaps Lucille could prove him wrong. He was speechless, though, for a moment, staring at her with bewildered eyes.
"I think that's a perfectly wonderful idea, Lucille." He said, finally. There was an edge of excitement, of adventure in his usually placid voice, and as he turned towards the border of Spirane he stepped to the side slightly, inviting Lucille to walk beside him if she desired. He hadn't ever had to hunt or defend somebody else, but Winchester supposed that all it would do was teach him. Somehow, he doubted that his imprint was entirely useless either. "There's so much to see and do out there, you simply wouldn't believe it! If you don't mind being cold, we can head north..." He trailed off, his mind roving over all the possibilities. But, he supposed there was an easier way. "Oh, do forgive me. It's terribly rude of me to not ask you where you'd like to go." Winchester turned towards her with an apologetic smile.
