A favor owed in the future? His smile is wicked and my own cunning. Ah, clever. Or rather, it might have been. "Favor? Call it a debt if you must," I shrug, peeling back further to allow the tension to disperse between us. It's a pity he has no need for this favor now for I must admit, I grow curious as to what that favor might be. To kill? To maim? To speak for him? Ah, I suppose I must wait and he, too, shall wait and see if I am honest or not. For now, I believe I am inclined to believe in my honesty. It's been a moment since somebody has given me something to look eagerly towards.
"We have come to an agreement," I state once more, taking a moment to pace in order to relieve the tension that surges beneath my own flesh. "I have little doubt we will be meeting soon beneath...different circumstances. It has been a pleasure, Blackthorne." My grin is wicked once more as I bow my head ever so slightly, satisfied to humor him in such regard. I am almost driven to seek the wolf Grimoire out immediately to gauge where her mind now lies - she may be useful, I think, for both he and I if she still seeks to bring out the existence of enemies once more. It has been some time since I have become involved in a game so large. I wonder if I might make it out alive or, better yet, without implication. How long can a wolf avoid suspicion, hm?
In any case, I straighten momentarily, eyeing him off once more before I motion with my muzzle towards the territory behind him. "I expect you and I have business elsewhere to attend to, no?" A brow lifts, assured that we'll be meeting again soon but for now... ah, I believe it might be best for us to both part ways before that fire begins again.
