Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Feeling in a particularly cheeky mood and wanting to see if he could rile the lass. She was easily as tall as he was if he was any judge of size. Perhaps not as solid in form but the fact that she could look him in the eye on level ground intrigued him. ”Nay, must’ve had snow in my ear lass.” His smirk became something close to a grin as he teased her. It had been a while since he’d felt like his old self again, since he’d felt that spark of life within him. He was pushing himself up from his lounging position, his paws sinking into the snow when the lass moved forward only to have the snow give way beneath her and topple face first into the snow bank.

A hearty peal of laughter bubbled up in his chest and he nearly let it loose when the gel’s pale head erupted from the snow with a growl, a look of murder in her purple-gold eyes. A strangled sound escaped him instead as he did his best to look somber. It was a lost cause though as he fairly shook with his attempts not to laugh. Watching her drag herself back up onto her rock perch again was what did him in. The sound of his deep, rumbling laughter echoed through the crags as he collapsed back into his snow pile. Just as he hadn’t felt so light in a very long time, he’d not laughed just as long. It felt good.

”Och lass, bite my tail if ya wish. I needed that. Are ye alright?” Was he cold? Perhaps, but at the moment he was feeling rather toasty on the inside. Such a fussy, concerned gel she was. So when she rose from her wee rock in the sea of snow and declared his play place unfit for conversation, he snorted and watched her go. Oh, he’d follow her, but he was in far too good a mood for just conversation. Surely the lass would play if he enticed her?

Scampering down from his mountain of snow, Dirk bounded after the pale miss and when he was near enough, stretched out his neck, his teeth closing on the middle of her tail to give it a little tug. Smirking, he stood tall, the snow coming up over his paws.
