Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Arturio nodded in agreement. Admittedly, not the greatest conversationalist. Though perhaps it came with the time around Nari, for she would never speak, and the nature of his position. The wolf knew he would have to not be so serious all the time. Such a thing would wear on him. But that was neither here nor there. He would need to get out of his serious rut and have a normal conversation for once in recent weeks.

"The moors are a rather nice area. Pine, the leader there, she's a good wolf in her own right. Had the pleasure of meeting her once when I was without a pack," he said, in an attempt to keep conversation going smoothly, especially as he was asked about the leader of Asteraia. The white giant gave a shrug, cast a glance towards the borders and then back to Dirk.

"Well, Dirk. You tell me. Do you take a wolf you just met to be the honorable sort? I know some of those who live in Asteraia stayed, and those from outside the pack came with him," he said. Arturio wanted to see if the lad could figure out that the one before him now led Asteraia. If he didn't, no matter. He wasn't exactly being obvious about it either.

"I would like to think he is a noble, honorable wolf. At least a decent man who wants to do right amidst a varying sea of changes," he finally said with a grin. "Perhaps you ought to dare venture into the pack and see what happens?" He suggested, his smile even more knowing. Dirk certainly seemed smart enough to figure it out.
