Why would he want to go to a stupid party anyway? It's not like he could actually TALK to anyone there. He had heard his dad and mom talking about it and it seemed they wanted him and Lixue to go and meet others their age. He wasn't so thrilled about it and he wasn't even sure if Lixue would want to go. She was sort of shy, but she did need more friends. He was getting a little protective over her as they grew. At first, he had directed most of his anger toward her but as they got older, he found that he didn't want anyone else harming her, either mentally or physically. She was HIS sister and anyone who thought to harm her would have to go through him first. He didn't even know if his assassin in training partner Petra was going to be there. Not that he cared. She was annoying anyway. That's what he kept telling himself anyway.

But somehow he found himself making his way to Spirane. What was so nice about a pack in the mountains anyway? It was probably cold and miserable there. Why have a party there? They should have done it at the beach pack or something. Or even the woods. That would be a real party. But nooo, he had to go all the way to the mountains just to meet other wolves he probably wanted no part of to begin with. He snorted and shook his head to himself as he kept trotting along. Finally he started to smell others and he raised his tail a little in a warning so others wouldn't think to just approach him like it was all good or something. He wasn't sure why he was here but he wasn't looking to make fast friends. Instead he got on the outskirts of the group and took a seat. Everyone could see him but he wasn't making eye contact with anyone in particular yet, just glancing around and listening as random wolves chose to talk. Stupid parties...
