The Grotto

Disaster has struck!
Years ago, an earthquake broke open several entrances into a deep, winding series of subterranean systems. It was thought that deep below, underground rivers snaked their way below Moladion. Now, flooding in the Northern reaches of Moladion has proven this theory to be true.

The Grotto is almost entirely submerged. Many of the entrances are completely inaccessible, and those that are only extend a few hundred feet before ending in water. The lower entrances, however, act almost like a giant drain for Moladion. Water pours down into the Grotto's maw as powerful rapids and waterfalls, and large amounts of debris have build up throughout the area. It can be exceptionally dangerous to travel due to the risk of flash-flooding and dams suddenly breaking, but the Grotto does offer the most consistent access across the floodwaters because of those dams.

Note:The Grotto will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

FEMALE - NINE - LOVELESS – BOUND TO MITHOS - LONER (HEALER)

Spring had come with out any issue. The blizzard that caught her in the crags during the winter had been rough, but the three-legged female had managed. Though the winds had certainly picked up this season, she knew she was safe within the confines of her small section of The Grotto. A nice little nook where she was familiar with the sections that held just enough light and water that grew moss good for patching larger wounds, plus a large enough space to keep her stores safe from the elements. It's why she liked the place, even if it was a bit close to more unsavory sorts. But even unsavory wolves needed healing.

Ana much liked being out in the wilds, helping where she could. Loners didn't have a dedicated healer like the packs did. Though she did not deny that there were occasions she considered going to Diveen with Mithos, but the black and white wolf was not quite ready for pack life again. There was a small sense of comfort in being able to move freely and not be tied down to a specific place.

Even today, she was outside her network, near where the Grotto slowly began morphing into the moors of Iromar. There were good things to be found in the more boggy areas. Even as the wind whipped through her fur, Ana did her supply run for the week before any major storms hit. It was spring time, after all. This was one of the key times of year to build her stock that was lost over winter.
