A base of bright yellow gold is splotched and swirled with harvest gold and flecks of a rich golden-brown. Specks of a pale buttery yellow and a fiery red-gold give his eyes the look of sparks from a fire.


APPEARANCE
Height: 39 inches
Weight: 178 pounds

Coloring: Dash’s undercoat is a soft golden tan in color though a majority of his body is a crisp, unblemished white thanks to a thick second coat. His head, neck and chest are a blending of the golden tan, a rust color and hints of mahogany that bring a bit more definition to his facial markings. Overall he is rather striking to behold with his golden head and stark white body. Reference Sheet

Fur:Thick and plush, especially around his neck and chest, Dash possesses a double coat that gives the illusion that he’s a bit more bulky than he actually is.

Build: Tall and somewhat slender, much of his height is comprised of his legs. His build is a bit on the lean side so he’s not overtly strong, but neither is he weak. He is quite quick and has a fair amount of endurance and strength though his size doesn’t quite lend itself to agility.

PERSONALITY
Used to being on his own, Dash is a bit on the scrappy side. His manners aren’t the greatest and he’s prone to being spiteful and selfish. It’s not that he’s particularly bad or anything, but being good and sweet would’ve seen him dead before his first winter so he toughened up and takes what he needs. He can be a bit harsh and rarely if ever trusts anyone.

HISTORY
Sold for half a deer carcass shortly before he probably should’ve been weaned, Dash was given a new name and a new family in the form of a trio of elderly wolves. It wasn’t a terrible existence but over the course of his first year of life he watched as the trio slowly withered away until he was left to figure out the dangers of his first winter alone. Determined and resourceful, he managed to keep himself from starving, mostly by scavenging the kills of other wolves when they’d finished, or stealing a bite here and there and running off before he could be caught. It wasn’t a particularly noble existence but honor and nobility weren’t exactly priorities. Food and shelter were. He did what he had to do to make sure he had what he needed and if that meant taking from others who had more than enough so be it.
