During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

Kenryk did not know who he was, Kenryk was not even yet aware that he WAS. The beautiful brindled pup was safe and warm, perfectly unaware of everything except the gentle thrumming of his mother’s heartbeat and the soft swaying of her belly. He did not know what caused these comforting action, the tiny baby brute only knew that they were a constant in his unaware life. Sometimes, the stretching of his brother’s limbs as he tossed disrupted the unborn infant, and yet, it was nothing that created distress.

Suddenly, however, something changed. Something within his world tensed, and the gentle, steady heartbeat quickened with stress. Kenryk’s body reacted without knowing, stretching and thrashing, unaware of what exactly was wrong, but knowing something within his cocoon of safety, was not as it had been. And then, suddenly, everything tightened. Pushing, pushing, pushing him forward, the boy resisted, with no success. His mother’s body pushed him forward, squeezing tightly. The boy wiggled against it, the movement only pushing him forward further. Suddenly, he broke free. The air around him cold. Tiny legs wiggle in their sac, paddling around uselessly. Suddenly, something is lifted away and he is free, gasping for air. A soft, spongey substance clears his airway, lifting the liquid away from his mouth and nose, and Kenryk shrieks in disdain, unsure of what would happen next..
