Dagon grinned, happy that she had found something that pleased her new friend. If making friends was this easy, what would stop her from making friends with everybody? It was interesting to see how others talked, lived, and reacted to things, all so different from what she might choose to do. Always a curious creature, the girl continued to stare down at the fish below the ice, watching them swim down the river to where it wasn't completely frozen over. Her ear twitched at Myrcella's question, and her face was enveloped in a quizzical look. "Well... the river isn't frozen over everywhere. I guess they must just be really cold." Her eyebrows furrowed in confusion, but soon enough they were off the subject. It bothered her that she hadn't been able to come up with the answer right away.
She blinked, her mouth forming a small 'o' as Myrcella suggested that they find another 'miniature wolf thing' to try and talk to. Before Dagon could protest, the other girl was off, down the riverbank. "Wait, Myrcella--" She sighed, before taking a few bounding leaps to catch up to her new friend. The last thing she wanted to do was get into a fight with a particularly angry fox. "That's not a miniature wolf, it's a fox! They are not always nice, and they don't talk." Dagon said, her breath heavy from playing catch-up. She didn't want to ruin her companion's viewpoint that everything in the world was nice, but her parents had told her otherwise. There were mean creatures and mean wolves, too.
"Why don't we try and look for birds? Or squirrels?" The girl suggested helpfully, pausing in her stride to try and dissaude Myrcella from getting them into some sort of dangerous situation. Foxes were small, but so were they, and even if they won against it she was sure she'd be dead meat if she came home all bloodied and bruised. "They are a lot nicer." |
