Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

Beltran

Beltran let go backed up a few steps once she was solidly on land and not ice. He certainly wasn't going to hold on any longer than necessary, after all such a thing would be rude. Still, he was glad she was willing to accept his assistance, and he did his best to not do so in a manner that might make her feel worse about the situation.

The dark male offered a somewhat sheepish smile. For all her huffing and puffing, she didn't seem like a bad person. More like someone had molded her this way with how they treated her, which was a shame, she seemed like a nice enough wolf. Well, from afar, but appearances weren't everything.

"Well, it's nice to meet you, Maude," he said when she finally spoke. At least she did that much. Though part of him wanted to stay, make sure she didn't decide to go out on the ice again and get stuck. Another part said he may have overstayed his presence here. What to say next, he felt a bit tongue tied. He hadn't exactly interacted with anyone outside Iromar in awhile, and those conversations he knew where they were going. Here, he felt stumped, and just sort of watched awkwardly.
