Matianak had gradually eased to her haunches. It was a peaceful enough place... Where you could shove a wolf that way and they'd tumble to their doom, or lead someone astray and they get lost in the darkness. She mused over this, her eyes closed for a short time, contemplating these things with Umbra's face attached to it. Or perhaps she could to it to some random wolves just to pass the time. Her sister wasn't exactly accessible lately. And to handle things at home? No, that would not go over as well as she preferred.
Her tail slowly wrapped about her paws, almost feline-like when the sound of pawsteps reached her ears. Matianak's eyes shot open. Her pale eyes locked onto the approaching male. Something faintly familiar in his scent, a wolf he had been around, drew her attention. If there had not been a faint trail of light showing down on her, she might have melded into the walls. But, she was not trying to be hidden. The grey female rose, stretching and taking her time to respond to him.
"No, not even a little bit," she said, her tone light as a smile crept across her maw. "But you are one of his, aren't you?" Matianak stated as much as asked. That was the smell. That lingering of nearness to her half-brother. She took a few steps closer to get a proper look at Zharko. "I hope you boys aren't causing too much trouble," she cooed, taking a couple steps more. She wondered if this one would be more interesting than her brother. He certainly had his moments. A way with words. To speak with him made for interesting conversation. Would this one be the same?
