Fir Chilis is the name given to the dense string of forested land that fills much of Blossom Forest. There are two different populations, depending on where in the land you are. To the north lays the deciduous forest, full of maples, oaks, birches, and beeches. To the south lay a coniferous forest full of pines and firs. No matter where you are, the trees shelter you from the sun and the rain and the snow. Take care not to get lost in the woods however - you may never find your way out. There are other dangerous here too - predators waiting for their own prey. While the land is prosperous they do not pose too much of a threat, but whenever famine or drought hits, they will attack anything... even other Putnar.

Those looking to hunt will find the forests well stocked - there are white-tailed deer, turkeys, red squirrels, chipmunks, mermots, and moose.

They had been hidden in the forest for quite some time, waiting for someone to come along and play. This new land was crawling with wolves and other creatures. Crawling with weird magic as well. Pan could smell it, hear it, taste it. Though, since arriving about a week ago he had done nothing but hunt for the source. No such luck of course. So the beast was pissed off, and bored. A dangerous combination for him. He needed something to play with. So it was time to find exactly that. He had picked the nearest forest he could find and found the densest portion. Peter clearly disagreed with the notion and tried to make his beastly half listen for once. They spent a large amount of time walking in frustrated circles just arguing with each other. Pan won of course, he always did. Peter was week, too kind for his own good. Which was exactly why Pan ran the show.

They sat now, deep in the middle of a large bush. Pan had heard footsteps nearby and it was no mouse. It was not a wolf though, he smelled her first, disappointed to discover her lack of magic. She walked directly past him, slow and unaware. Exactly how he liked them. The demon licked his lips in anticipation, watching her cross his path with his deep brown eyes. He began to slink along behind her, slipping from shadow to shadow. Watching her every move. She was a kalak, a pretty one, but also a sick one. Not only did her scent give it away, but her movements and facial expressions when she moved. This was going to be fun. He was extremely careful not to make any noises, rustle any leaves or snap any stray twigs. He debated with himself what he would do with her. Break her leg and watch her scream and squirm? Pop out of the shadows here and there, messing with her, until she went mad? Knock her out and string her up from a tree to be eaten slowly by the squirrels and birds? "You shouldn't be doing any of it in the first place" Peter's words rang through his head. He closed his eyes and shook off his kind counterpart. She was a little ways in front of him now, and it seemed she had found a rabbit. Pan watched, and laughed internally as she painfully tried to pounce and catch the small creature and failed. He whispered from his hiding place, allowing his voice to travel and bounce through the trees.

"Oops, what a shame, try again, I'm sure you'll get it next time"

His voice was like poison, calling out from the shadows like a ghost. He slunk his way around behind her to her other side, laughing maniacally. The sound reverberated from tree to tree, screwing up any way of telling where the sounds were really coming from. He continued to walk around her in circles, sticking to the shadows and only showing a flash of his autumn coat here and there, to make sure she knew someone was there, watching here. He stared at her impatiently, never taking his eyes off her leggy form.

In his pacing and teasing he happened upon a small vole hole. A menacing smile creeped up the side of his face. He took his paw with his sharpened daggers and shoved it into the dirt, destroying the hole. He waited a quick moment until sure enough a vole shot out from another hole only feet away. It ran towards his crouched, shadowy form and he threw a leg in front of it, redirecting it in her direction. The beast watched again as it ran right out in front of her and froze.

"ooohooohooo loooky there, an op-or-tu-ni-ty! go ahead deary.......... try again"

He spoke again in his horrifying whisper, still snaking his way around her in the brush. His voice was cynical and dripping with evil intentions. He wanted to see if she would snap. And if she didn't, he wanted to find out how he could make her snap.
