This girl stared. A lot. That is my first thought as before deciding to take her rabbit. After all, she had pestered me with a perfectly good dead rabbit at her feet and was not above taking what didn't belong to me. A boy had to survive somehow. It puts me in mind of my younger pup days when I snarled and spit at Curiass, defending the meat he would give me lest he take it back, and I do so now with my large paw on the corpse while staring her down. Did I scare her? I can't tell, only that she seems surprised by my growl but remains perfectly still. Most of the time I am given a sneer or a flick of the tail as the rest of the inhabitants leave me alone, wrinkling their nose. The son or Aranck. Timid or not, the girl bucks up when I steal her rabbit, ears folding back. My head ticks to the side as my eyes fall to her lips, reading most of it but she spoke rather fast. Truth was, I'm not the smartest wolf. Even I knew that. I was fury and brute but it took me a minute to understand things sometimes. All I got out of what she said was something along the lines of me being kind, to which my lips twist in a grimace, and then delivering the rabbits to mothers. "No. I eat. They get plenty anyways. Too fat," I add, more for the shock factor than truth. My brusque nature tended to push wolves away. I liked it that way. The only wolf I ever really cared about was Curiass and I would bite his heels once I found him again.

My clawed paw presses deeper into the rabbit as I duck my head slightly, ears leaned back casually but with a clear threat that if she tried to take it I would defend it. In response, my belly gave a low snarl of hunger and one ear flicks forward as I grin at her, a sort of 'see, I am hungry' expression.
