Kajika's suspicions were confirmed when she mimicked his motion rather than outright questioning what he was doing. That meant trying to figure out her name in this situation would prove fruitless. The brindle and white male still watched her, ever observing, though joining her at least temporarily in her perpetual silent world. Perhaps one day she might learn to read gestures or mimic sounds, but he had no way to know this.
As Archana approached him again, he does not move, not yet at least, allowing her to steady herself with a paw on his shoulder. He leaned his head slightly, giving her a brief opportunity to bat at the damaged ear. It had healed nicely, but it was still quite obvious it had been shredded quite well by the way the skin healed together in places. "Someone tried to hurt me," He explained, even though he knew she did not understand, "And that's why you need to go home. It's not safe out here."
Words falling on deaf ears... Who knew that would be a literal statement. Kajika gingerly took a few steps back, so as to not abruptly cause her to fall by the movement if she hadn't already returned her paws to the ground. Then he was off again, moving in a generally eastward direction. He stopped, whipping around to face her, giving a bark and a wave of his tail. Once more he resumed the play bow. Kajika could at least play the part, have fun while getting her somewhere safe. He did not even doubt that she would follow.
