Ethel, are you using an ad blocker? Apparently if you use the Adblock add-on in your browser, then you get the big block of Trending Articles ad on the message boards (lately adblock has been making deals to serve up so-called "acceptable" ads in place of the ads you would otherwise see!). Try disabling Adblock when you visit this site and you will probably only see a banner ad at the top of the board.

Or you can try the "uBlock Origin" add-on which so far seems to be keeping all the ads away for me...and it makes your overall browsing safer too. Send me an email if you want more info.
