Romance is in the air...this is probably the most beautiful and scenic place in Blossom Forest. For the athletic and determined to come with their mates, for time away from pups. Only adults may come here; some of the ledges are too far apart for teens or pups to cross and some too high to scale.

☃Baby I’m Dancing in the Dark With you between my arms.☃

Silence is sometimes deafening when your heart is pounding loudly in your chest. Blood covered the body of a strange princess. Her clan, what is considered a clan in her homeland, was destroyed. She ran for her life when the warriors started fighting. A rival male wanted her as his mate, though he had many to begin with, he didn’t want Craia. Her father didn’t want him to have her either, but it didn’t matter to the male. He saw the sweet dragon as a collection item and he could not pass up the chance to take her. In her homeland she could control snow, but here in these strange lands her magic was gone, no one would ever be able to know what she was.
The blood covering her was from some of the warriors that decided they wanted to hunt the little dragon. Her tiny frame was able to fight them for the most part, but she couldn’t fight them all. Luckily her magic worked since she was still in her home lands and froze the poor wolves to death. Solidified in ice as she ran away. What should be white on her is crimson and the onyx on her was just dirty and looked rusted. No one could tell she was an ivory wolf, but that she was thankful for, she didn’t want anyone to guess what she could have been.
Her pads carried her through the dense forest where the paw prints crunched into the snow and was covered in a red trail for the most part. Her ears were still ringing with the sounds of her family screaming. Though the air around her was beginning to warm as the sun had started coming up. She could tell this part of the forest was late in the seasons because the warmth from the air was definitely that of summer. It was creeping in and warming her tired body. The blood soaked fae shivered as water dripped down from the melting ice from the trees above her. She watched as blood dripped down her and the ivory of her coat started to shine through. Her body was tired of running and the limbs of hers were getting sluggish. Growling the hot headed dragon forced herself to keep going, she wouldn’t give up even if it meant she needed to push herself until she died.
Her father had trained her to be a warrior, but her mother’s “princess” training stuck with her more. As she walked she saw a river and her skin crawled with the need to be clean. Giving in to her urges Craia walked her tired but graceful limbs into the river that was quickly filling with water from things that had been frozen during the winter that seemed to just pass. She watched the raging blue water turned into a crimson wasteland. She quickly dipped her head under the water and when she resurfaced the dark onyx mask with the vibrant eyes of crystal spoke through. She continued to wade through the river until she found a large rock, big enough to hold her fluffy body while the sunshine dried her and her wonderous locks. Closing her eyes she let her mind wander to the days when her father was teaching her to swim. The way he laughed and she smiled brightly at him. Her mother would always tell her that males would not take kindly to a female who tried to prove herself as more of a male, but her father didn’t wish for her to be weak around others. He wanted his princess, his only daughter to be able to protect herself. Her heart started to tighten though as she thought about them. She wasn’t able to protect them when they needed it most, what good was she to anyone now? Her eyes opened and she looked over the area around her. Here she would be no dragon, she would just be a wolf and she would be able to join a pack and not be a princess, but an actual working member and do some good. “I will do this for you father. I will hold your memory in everything I do.” She whispered out into the world around her before closing her eyes and drifting into her sleep, resting her tired body and letting her sore limbs heal.
