Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Aeon
Valefor x Anima ~ 40in/160lbs

He was way too anxious about this. He had come up with the idea and thought it rather clever. She had to figure it out. He knew she was smart. She seemed to glow in all aspects of life and that is what drove him to try and see her again...perhaps without her mother or family getting involved. He hoped his own family would remain uninvolved as well, but Aeon has grown to know and understand Ava. Ava only got involved because of the mother wolf, otherwise...she would just lurk from the shadows.

At least he hoped. He hoped for a lot of things as he paced the border of Glorall. He would peek his head out of a bush, looking out into the world, before moving over some slightly. What if she gets the message but approaches Glorall from a slightly different angle? Would they see each other? He could not keep his green eyes away from the outside of the pack. His ears would perk at every single little noise and he whines. It could be...days before she finds it...if she finds it at all..and what if she finds it and he wasn’t obvious enough? Or...even worse...what if she never wants to see him again?
His heart sinks at this thought, but he does not give up looking and pacing the border. All of his waiting pays off though when he sees a lighter figure in the peripheral on his left. He twirls his head around and his green eyes focus in to see Lucia at the border so quickly. She is so fast! He finds his heart skipping a beat as he immediately runs towards her. He has to dodge some trees and bushes, but he reaches her. He has a silly grin on his dark visage, but his eyes are bright with the joy of seeing her.

”Lucia, my light,” he says, his accent still thick with Latin. His accent may be thick, but he had learned quite a bit of English with their long time apart. A lot of wolves spoke the common tongue in Glorall, so it was not hard for him to put effort into picking it up better. At least, he thought he was better.

”You found the, uh, how you say, concha, yes?” he asks, tail waving behind him as he holds back every fiber of his being to not tackle her to the ground in excitement right now. His front legs do sorta shake with excitement and he moves them slightly to try and conceal his energy that seems to be beaming from him. She had grown so much! So much, and she was more beautiful than he could remember.

”We is being alone?” he asks, tilting his head and hoping that today they would get their damn peace without parents being all...stupid this time.
