Israfel seemed to pick up on the underlying emotion of what Sleekwing told him about Samia's mother, the look of contemplation passing over his features as easily read by his father as the looks he'd given as a pup when he was hungry. But neither son nor father pressed the issue, allowing it instead to lie as Israfel spoke on about Samia, connecting a few dots of Natu's last years in Sleekwing's mind. It shouldn't have come as any surprise to him that once she was on the move again the woman couldn't be kept in one place for long. Spirane to Asteraia, Asteraia to Glorall, and somehow from there she had ended her days in Taviora. Sleekwing smiled fondly, nodding his head in acknowledgement of this new information.

Sleekwing's pride in his son only grew more as he spoke on about how Samia no longer had much of a family, and how he wanted to offer her something more. Siblings scattered far and wide across Moladion did not make for much of a family, the elder male mused to himself, and he thought it an incredibly upstanding thing of his son to want to invite Samia to join his family. Once more unpalatable thoughts of Fenrir cross his mind - the girl had likely not had much of a father figure in her life, regardless of how old she'd been when he passed away. But he did his best to tamp down these thoughts, to keep them to himself and not sully the deceased's name.

"I think that is a fine idea, indeed, son. Has she visited the mountains before? Its been a long time since I've traveled to Glorall, but I think I'm still more than up to the task," he said with a wink. Sleekwing wondered, then, if Samia had committed to a life in Glorall whether Israfel would seek to set down roots in the pack as well. Or perhaps there was a bit more of Natu in Samia than she knew, and the two would move from pack to pack as the wind carried them. What the future might hold for the young pair Sleekwing couldn't be sure, but he hoped he could play some part in it.
