Things seemed to keep shifting in the outside world, messages reaching her ears of leadership changing hands and yet in the mountains things seemed to remain steady, stable. Perhaps it was the deep roots which ran all the way to the heart of Moladion anchoring her family and herself to the mountain seat. Whatever the case she was thankful for it, for though she kept a watchful ear tuned to what happened outside of their boarders her first priority would always be those who called the mountain home. The return of her mother and sister had reignited a fire in the heart of Spirane, at least to her it felt whole again. She was beyond pleased to have the guidance and company of her mother once more, and though she still felt some trepidation regarding her relationship with her younger sister she knew these things had a way of working themselves out, they were family after all.

She was already near the edge of the pack when she heard the call come across the mountainside. Curious, another diplomat; it didn’t seem all too long since the last one from Taviora had come. That had been an interesting meeting and she hoped this one might be a littler… smoother. Asteraia was not a pack she had much experience with, being the farthest from her home, but news of its recent change in leadership had reached her ears just as Iromar’s had. She had been glad when tensions between Iromar and Diveen had seemed to settle but news of the new leader of Iromar had brought concerns with them as well. Asteraia however seemed more peaceable and so she set of eagerly to meet the girl who waited so patiently for an audience.

Picking her way over the lower slopes at an easy pace it didn’t take her long to find the black and red girl where she stood. Spring was warmer on the lower reaches, the higher points in her home still having a bit of chill and even snow in some places and she was glad to have reason to bask in the relative warmth a little longer before returning. “Greetings,” she called as she approached, stopping a short distance away, “I am Kalseru Mountainborne, Bewilderbeast of Spirane and its protector.” A formal introduction, but a necessary one. “What brings you to the mountains today?” She was rather eager indeed to see what news would be brought to them now.
