A gracious nod followed his bow - many years in power made me comfortable with such gestures, even if they were few and far between. Every wolf had their own way of showing respect. "I am glad to make your acquaintance at long last. I have always done my best to know the name and face of every wolf who calls the mountain home, for whatever span of time they may spend here." Of course the past year had put me significantly behind in that department, and I had a lot of catching up to do. But if Tyrion had been here since right around the time that I had fallen victim to the vengeful hooves of the beast, perhaps he could help me with that. Or at the very least give me a pack wolf's perspective on the events of the past year.
Following his indication of the nearby thicket, I moved to walk alongside him in that direction. "Indeed," I agreed - a comfortable space, and a bit of shelter from the elements to allow him to regenerate a bit of body heat. "Your company would be more than enough repayment," I said with a smile. It would be a good thing, I thought, simply to enjoy his company and conversation. From what my daughters had told me, he was an intelligent wolf and I was interested to learn more about him and his views.
Stepping into the shelter of the thicket, I walked towards the denser portion until a comfortable location was spotted. There was a semicircle of bushes that had prevented too much snow from piling up, and in combination with the trees fringing the area it created a good blockade from any stray winds that might make their way into the protective bunch of foliage. Circling so that my back would be to the bushes, I lowered to the ground and lay upright upon my sternum. I crossed my forelegs and then looked to Tyrion once more, waiting for him to get comfortable before asking, "Tell me, what are your thoughts on the pack?" A broad question perhaps, but I left it open to his interpretation. There was much for me to catch up on from the time I had missed, and all of that knowledge could not be gained from my daughters alone.
