Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Royce watched as the woman rolled onto her stomach and he took in the bits of forest debris that littered her coat. His ears twitched at her snicker and she could help but smile as she laughed. Lifting a chocolate dipped paw, he spent a moment deliberately inspecting it before following up with the other paw. Placing it down, he adopted a rather severe expression and lowered his voice. ”Alas, my dear, my claws are abysmally normal in length. However, I’m sure there’s someway I could help.”

Not for the first time, Royce wondered why flirting and teasing came so very easily to him. His father was a stick in the mud, duty driven wolf and his mother was overbearing and a bit awkward at times. His family was filled with practicality and a bit of peculiarity which he supposed could be considered charming in its own way, but certainly he was an oddity. Charm, however, was what had gotten him into this mess, charm and lack of motivation.

Still, the lady was pretty and obliging of his attention so he couldn’t quite bring himself to be entirely serious. After all, he couldn’t spend every hour of every day searching for his errant sister. And if he asked around, maybe some of the ladies in this land had actually seen his little lump of a sister around. It was worth a shot anyway.

His behavior justified in his own mind, he moved closer and settled on his haunches before the woman, his little heart-shaped cream colored snip put on display. ”The name’s Royce, by the way.”
