Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Return to Lunar Children
Dark! Dark!

There was much to keep the silver-tipped beast busy. Training Umbra in the ways of the Shade had begun to blossom into progress. The death of Enderly by her own jaws was an affirmation that she had indeed learned what she needed to about the ways of the weak. She had taken a certain enjoyment out of it, he thinks, but such is the way it has always been with him. A rabid animal, tamed by the burning fire within himself. When he passed, it would likely slip to her, although he needed to test Matianak as well. They were the children he had given his attention to, ignoring even the pull of Kamala. The knowledge that she was Eden's had made it difficult for the Thorn. To claim her was what he desired to do - the bond made it so and his own instincts flared higher. To do so would drive a wedge between him and his King and above all, he lived to serve The Shade and Eden. One in the same, perhaps.

Over the aching in his body, he does not feel her come. Not until she was right next to him, his silver eyes turning to her in surprise, a low growl coming out as she hovered close to his wounds. Before he can say anything - what would he say? - Natiya begins to speak and Kamala faces her, then the sudden arrival of Eden. Natiya's blue-silver eyes owlishly look over Kamala in surprise. Her father had another? She remembered Blackthorne telling her about him killing Umbra and Matianak's mother and had assumed he would never take another female. But it is obvious to her, at least, that there is something between them.

Underidge's body twitches in response to the firm words of Eden. His legs push beneath him so that he rises, shaky from blood loss and pain, his eyes sliding past Kamala as if she isn't there. He can sense Eden's displeasure - understands it. Mine, his mouth opens, wanting to form the word, but he can see the fury beneath those yellow eyes. It stalls him - Eden has been his guiding star. The madness in his eyes seems to grow, torn between wanting to serve Eden and wanting to obey the instinct between him and Kamala. "She is.." he begins, his hissing voice hoarse, ears flicking forward then back, agitated. "Soul?" The last word is forced over the screaming in his head: MINE.

Natiya responds with a long blink and her ears flick towards Eden as the male speaks to her. "My role is to deliver him to you, along with the message," she says respectfully, her lyrical voice slightly hesitant in these moments, confused at the play going on between the two males.
