Rules � The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders. � Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission. � All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say. � Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met. � You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page. � Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

This is a two-in-one announcement!

Firstly I need everyone who is still here to respond with their characters' names and ranks so that I can update the board if needed.

Secondly, if you intend to put your name forward for a leadership position (i.e. want to be a candidate for the vote at the end of the month), please say so - this includes those who are already in a position of power. Failing to do so will be interpreted as you stepping down from your position. (I'm aware that Gent is the only one in a leadership position, but I just want to make that clear for future reference.)

This - as well as the activity check - will be open the rest of the month, so you have until the day of the vote to decide whether you are running or not and respond to this post.

Up until the day of the vote, the rest of the month will be considered campaign time, though this is not mandatory to participate in. Those already in leadership positions may choose to carry on as normal if they feel their position is secure. Those who would like to be considered for a new position are encouraged to find ways to gain the approval of others or otherwise show their suitability for the role, whether that be through bargaining, threatening, or engaging in raids/challenges/etc.

The vote itself will be held on the last day of the month.
