Arturio chuckled lightly, noticing the wheels turning in Dirk's head. Even as he spoke, the suspicions were confirmed. A lady had certainly caught his attention. The question was, how would he go about it? Arturio was not the sort to force anything on anyone, nor would he allow someone in his pack to do so. But if Dirk convinced the lady to come willingly, she would be more than welcome. Even if right now, it was, as the other man put it, just a thought.
"Well, hopefully you get the chance to see her again. Charm her with your dashing smile," he said with a playful grin. Arturio wasn't the best to give insight to relationships, but at least he could poke at Dirk just a little bit. Maybe she wouldn't look twice, or maybe she would. There was no telling. The White Knight wasn't going to tell him that though, especially after the small grimace. He raised a brow slightly. Just a thought... A thought that crossed Dirk's mind more than he would probably admit.
As the conversation shifted, the plain's Alpha nodded. "I do greatly appreciate that, Dirk. If war is coming, and deep in my gut I believe it will, then we will need all paws on hand to protect our pack, friends, and family," he said, his tones more grave. Nari was expecting, whether any were his blood or not, it made them family through his bond, and alliances were being formed with other packs. Everyone would need to be ready when the time came.
