"I heard stories!" she called out from the darkness, "It goes so deep, one wrong turn and you're done!" Dandelion had lingered long enough to hear his name. She didn't realized she was named after a flower. But then again, her mother was called Butterfly, and her sister Kricket, so it seemed to be a theme for her family. Her tail waved back and forth, as she turned around.
Dandy was just enough in the darkness that he wouldn't notice her, but close enough to the light that she could see him coming. A large grin played on her maw as he called out that he was coming. She watched him intently with periwinkle eyes, her body starting to move with the motion of her tail. It was a struggle not to giggle, but she managed to hold it in right until he got to the curve where she was.
That was when she pounced. Of course, Triton was a bit bigger than her, but that didn't stop her from trying. "Gotcha!" she shrieked happily, hoping that she did indeed 'get' him. This was always a fun game with Kricket, why wouldn't it be with someone else.
