The next time the CCT trainee comes to me in tears from the casualty unable to laser retinal tears, remove a corneal foreign body, or cope with seeing more than 8 patients in a 4 hour session, instead of helping them I am going to tell them to contact the consultant on call in the private clinic. I suggest all fellows and specialty doctors do the same as per the thread below.
