It is actually disconcerting to realize that my imprint is about the same height as me. In fact, I was fairly certain she would be growing even taller and I felt rather.. stunted. It would suit me after the shitty life I had led. To have an imprint who was bigger than me. That just didn't sit well with me though I am distracted by the way the red-faced girl with her white marking between her brows snaps at me about being attentive. Wait, what were we talking about? I suppose I ought to give her that one, but I just grin at her in a devil may care manner because I have a feeling it will get her hackles up. I can feel her displeasure deep in my chest and it is strange. It makes me hot and cold and grumpy all at the same time.

She tilts her head in such a puplike way that some new insult is at the tip of my lips before I crush them shut. I don't know what I feel so... rude. Probably because her presence makes me nervous and I was the one to come here. What the fuck had I been thinking? Abruptly I stand up with the intention of leaving her just like I did last time but she sits almost at the same moment that I stand and our noses brush. It is like an electric shock, all my fur rising from the touch, a sense of warm pleasure bursting from my nose to the tip of my tail, and my electric eyes stare at her with a sort of hunger.

I blink stupidly at her for a moment, trying to figure out what she was blabbering on about this time before picking through our conversation. "I don't know, it's not like I've ever had an imprint before. What makes YOU the imprint expert?" The words are snippy right back and then abruptly, my butt hits the ground again, finding I rather enjoy our snippy conversation. "Anyways, I have business to take care of. I was pretty important back home, you know." That was a bald faced lie but it didn't stop me from saying it as I look at her with a haughty expression.
