Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

I am Orb.
He could feel her worry through the bond. He whimpered as he searched the fields. There was something bothering her and he didn't know what. It was killing him.
"SHE LOST HER PACK. I'M PRETTY SURE THAT'S ENOUGH TO MAKE SOMEONE WORRY, AMIGO. DON'T BE SUCH AN IDIOTA."
Diesel shook his head at Bandit but chose not to say anything to correct him. Orb figured he must be thinking the same thing but Orb didn't feel the same. It was something else. He just knew it. He felt her desperation only growing and he whimpered louder this time, his nose to the ground as he tried to pick up on her scent. He didn't want her running off and doing anything impulsive. She seemed like she was on the cusp of doing something like that and he couldn't allow it. No, she shouldn't endanger himself.
"THAT'S WHAT YOU'RE FOR, EH?"
Bandit sneered at him, his eyes twinkling. Orb only snorted but kept walking. He knew that he would give himself up for her in a heartbeat if she asked. The bond was just that strong. When he looked up from his tracking, he was shocked into pausing by the sight of none other than his beautiful imprint. He blinked a few times, his ears flicking foward as he took a hesitant step forward. His tail gave a feeble wag as he took her in. She seemed fine physically but he knew from his connection that her emotions were anything but. He felt the growing bitterness in her and since he didn't know the reason behind it, it was gnawing at him, eating him alive from the inside out.
"WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? GO TO HER."
He heard Diesel's gentle prodding and scowled but took another hesitant step forward. Of course things only got worse when she called out Diesel's name instead of Orb's. He forgot that he'd never really gotten a chance to introduce himself really but he could feel Diesel puffing up, pushing at his control, trying to take over. Clenching his jaw, he held onto it with everything he had. NO. He would not concede this time. Usually he was quite the pushover but not this time. Not with her. She was HIS imprint, dammit.
"LOOK AT YOU, GROWING SOME CAJONES. I'M PROUD OF YOU, AMIGO."
Bandit snickered and Orb rolled his eyes. Diesel had his mouth set in an unhappy scowl but he made a "hmph" noise in his throat and turned his attention back on Aster and so Orb did the same. She asked what he was doing here and he parted his lips to answer, gaping like a fish out of water at first before he found his voice.
"I, UH, I CAME LOOKING FOR YOU. I WAS WORRIED. I COULD FEEL SOMETHING WAS OFF. I KNOW YOU LOST YOUR HOME. I'M SORRY."
He ducked his head in a true apology, his eyes shining with sadness.
"I'M ORB, BY THE WAY. THAT'S MY REAL NAME."
He emphasized the word 'real' without thinking about it. He could feel the others tense up but he ignored them for now.
"WHAT, UH, WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE? IS THIS WHERE YOU'RE STAYING?"
