What stupidity. This is a massively beneficial exercise for learning and not doing the same mistake repeatedly. Speciality-doctors lack reflectivity and therefore they never go beyond the level of a general trust grade cadre doctor. They should not be even classified as ophthalmologists. They may have some 'alleged experience from somewhere' but they keep repeating the same mistakes repeatedly. Thats also one of the reasons why trainees are better, efficient and safer doctors.
