on 2-6-2018 on route 5 between St.Johnsbury center and Lyndon Corner Vermont. Was driving north and saw a mountain lion heading toward the road from the left of my car. I started to slow down and it went straight across the road. The long tail, about the length of the body, was out straight behind it. It didn't look either way and was going very fast. Waited to report this, wanted to check with others in this area to see if they had seen any. It was very thin but was a very big animal. It was about 4:30 pm when I saw it.
