Ehiyeh wore happiness well. Elohim had never stopped to consider it when they had been so much younger and yet, now her happiness had become a scarce thing, something she hid behind lock and key more days than not. So when she showed it, it was almost blinding in how well it seemed to suit her; it lit her eyes up like the moon and she seemed to radiate with the same glow as the sun behind a stormcloud: subtle but enough to cast a silver lining on every last one of them. He could never find it within himself to ruminate when she lit up; like an aurora, it stopped everybody in its track.
And so he took the change in her and embraced it; he allowed his own thoughts to slip away like sand in the wind and instead, smirked as she danced forward. Knight or an assassin? He gave a small hah! of subdued laughter as he reached out with a paw to swat at her. "You're expecting a lot, sister," he danced forward after her with his head low, "knights, assassins. I'd fight like a brother defending somebody he cares for - isn't that enough?" He grinned, clearly jesting, and feigned towards her with a nip towards her tail. And then he pivoted and bounded several strides ahead, looking over his shoulder as he did so; he had chased last time! Wasn't it her turn to do the hunting?
