At Leisure Lake the sun is always shining and only a few stray clouds roam the open sky; paradise is the one word that really describes it. This beautiful lake is clean and refreshing, the very best place to swim and fish. Pups are known to play here while older wolves watch at the side, engaged in their own activities.

Now My Watch Begins; It Shall Not End Until My Death

Becoming a father had changed the brute more than he had anticipated. Part of the reason for this being that he had no idea he was about to become a father. He had never imagined that his first time with a female would result in pups, especially since it was not someone he had any feelings for. Ghost had had feelings for another in the past, but it had been a brute and it had been an unconventional relationship. Some would have looked at it as borderline abusive, but that was not the case. It was just how the two interacted and expressed their feelings for each other. Ghost still remembered when he met her, the femme was frightened and alone, just wanting some physical comfort. Even though the brute was more attracted to males normally, he couldn’t deny that she was pretty. So why not give her what she wanted and enjoy himself as well, hopefully helping her in any way that he could as well. It had been a fine afternoon for both of them, and it seemed that the femme was distracted from her fears and worries, for the moment anyways. All had seemed well.

The pair of snow white wolves had parted ways and he thought he would never see the femme again. And it was true that he never saw the femme again, but instead he found pups that had the undeniable scent of her upon them. All three of them were young, far too young to have been left alone, and he knew they were his. He wasn’t sure how he knew it, but he did. Ghost had never thought he would be a father, but here he was, looking at 3 pups that were his. For a moment he wanted to leave them, to not have the responsibility of caring for others. But he remembered how hard his puphood as a bastard had been, and he would not let that happen to another if he could help it. They may grow up without a mother, but they would not grow up without a father. It had been a life adjustment, but one that he was more than willing to do to give the best life to these pups that he could. But sometimes he needed some time on his own. And that was how he had met Tiberias. When Ghost saw the other male struggling in the ocean he knew that he had to help, and that was what led the two to talking.

“Well now, darling, that is the first lie that you’ve spoken to me. I do hope it will be the last.” The male’s ears twitched at the words. He was not lying. How could someone just walk by and let another being drown? It had been obvious what the right thing to do had been. Stumbling over words as he often did, he spoke up, not quite getting the game that this other flirtatious male was getting at. ”I have not lied to you, nor would I. I am not one to lie to others.” It was then that he gave this stranger his name, waiting himself to have something to call the other white brute. “Ghost? Oh dear me, I hope that will not mean that you will coast in and out of my life, or that you are perhaps an apparition of my mind. You seem rather real to me, and I must say that so far I have quite enjoyed your company.” Before he could respond to the words, the stranger was inches from his form. His form stilled, crimson red orbs taking in the site of the other male who was much closer than was socially acceptable. But it didn’t bother Ghost, in fact it was affecting him in ways that he had not anticipated. It had been a while since he had been with a male, and his insecurity was coming through now that certain thoughts had come to his mind.

Finally the stranger gave him a name, and then he seemed like less of a stranger. Tiberias, or Tibby, or apparently whatever he wanted to call him. Keeping his eyes locked on the varg, he spoke once more. ”Tiberias. It is a nice name.” Always unsure of himself, he sputtered out another reply, realizing as soon as he did that it was not what the other brute wanted to hear, and he felt the blood rush to his face as he blushed. If only he wasn’t so awkward and unsure of himself. Tiberias’ form was distracting in front of him, weaving and snaking his form around as he spoke. Ghost began shuffling awkwardly from paw to paw, trying to form the words to come out in a less awkward way, he forced himself to speak again. ”Well, I mean, nothing unique I guess. I’m like everyone else. Except um…” He coughed, realizing he had never spoken out loud about being attracted to males, and even though Tiberias was more bold and flirtatious than he was, he felt that it needed to be stated. ”Um…I’ve found out I like males and females. Not exactly traditional there I suppose.” His gaze flickered away for a moment, wondering if he had assumed incorrectly about this male. What if he thought was Tiberias being flirtatious was him just being friendly? Surely that was not the case. ”Um…so what about you then? Anything…unique?”
