Such a stupid comment from an arrogant "trainee". If 10 SG across the country resign tomorrow I bet their units would end in a complete mess! Locums (if there's still any) no longer willing to do the donkey work, trainees want bespoke job plans for their training and consultants very keen more than ever to go part-time to do private. SG the only ones left to clear all the mess and rubbish work. Like or not the SGs are keeping the NHS eye services running in 90% of units across the country !
