Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

ANDRASTE
I've shattered an empire; brought kings to their knees

Andraste had been quiet since the overturn of Asteraia, her tail metaphorically tucked between her legs in disappointment as she walked away without the title she coveted most. She was far too concerned with her image to outwardly show her defeat. Instead, she kept to herself and kept her head low for the time being; she was never one to give up so easily.

Word had come slowly from the other loners of Moladion that Asteraia’s pale leader had been overthrown by a young femme known as the Nameless One. She hadn’t heard of this wolf before but if she didn’t share her true name with those who follow her then perhaps they have more in common than she originally thought. Andraste wouldn’t mind meeting with this Nameless One at one point or another but she wasn’t going to rush anything just yet.

Instead, she wanders away from the valley and into the dark woodland in search of nothing in particular. She wanted to recoup and refine her tactics for achieving what she desired but she was unsure how to do so thus far. Perhaps she needed to start by seeking out others like herself - those who feel that they want something more out of their life, a higher purpose, more power. The thought itself was invigorating and caused her to pick up her step into a jog deeper into the trees.

Yes, she needed to surround herself with others who were like her or even those she could turn to her side of life. A malicious grin began to creep onto her features as she continued onward through the darkness and picked up on the sound of jaws snapping nearby. Her head snapped to the side at the sound, her dark ears perked forward, and she changed her trajectory to meet up with whoever was making such a beautifully violent sound.

A large, dark cloud of bats fluttered overhead as she neared the shadowed individual who had caught her attention. His large head was flinging one of the bats onto the ground, providing a very satisfying crackle of bones as it hit. ”Midnight snack?” She stepped closer from his right with a mezzo-soprano tone filling the distance left between them. Her eyes shifted from the dying bat and up to his face, wanting to get a better look at who she had found in the darkness.
