The alabaster female had always been there, always around, since his pup hood. It was only destiny that bound them in the beginning but loyalty and a sense of shared wickedness that kept them gravitating together. Blackthorne had never asked much about Eve but she had never prodded much about him either, content to simply share in their wickedness together. It was expected that she should follow him to Iromar and despite her being older, he had never given much thought to it in regards to their status to one another.
