She wanted more. That much was always going to be. Kattari wasn’t one to sit idly in the lower ranks of a pack. If there was a hierarchy she was going to climb it, she didn’t want to be the little guy at the bottom, she never would settle for nothing short of the best and most powerful anywhere. She took a few days to settle back into her home. She went to find that the old den of the Monster and Tobias had since been caved in, probably also their graves. A shame, by now their corpses too decayed for her to feast upon them and take what would have been a wonderful addition to her power, but there were plenty more to add to herself out there. Ones she hoped that her new Pharaoh would allow her to take. Not much had changed though. It was still mostly grassland, though the prey was absent from the land, devoid even. Kattari found more luck in the frozen tundra than she had since arriving here… A shame… a problem, yet for now she would let it slide in lue of trying to figure out something, if all went to play Kattari would be out doing things for her new alpha, not hanging idling around Asteraia anyway.
She was moving along the borders now, searching for the large wolfess to speak with her. The wolfess was never talkative in the past, but perhaps that has changed as time passed and she aged. It would be good to catch up too, see what the girl had experienced, if she could voice it. Kattari wasn’t too picky. She moved through the tall grasses though, the land oddly silent in comparrison with her past. It seemed very few had stayed under the change of rule, not that Kattari could blame them. Even when given to the alpha’s before the white wolf who was here before many of the cannibals had left. Kattari didn’t know the state of Iromar, but it seemed many fled those lands too… Like her brother. Though it was odd to think he would leave anywhere where he might be welcomed. Still Kattari thought his time under Pine was numbered anyway. She didn’t know what she invited in after all, perhaps she found that out the hard way later.
The strawberry and white wolfess though let her tail wave as she finally spotted the black, russet and white form of the female she had been searching for. ”Ah, Opal. I hope you are not too busy with your new duties to talk to an old… acquaintance.” Kattari’s smooth tones called, wondering if this was the life she had been expecting, wanting. Some found when they got power it wasn’t too their tastes. Kattari knew leadership wasn’t for her. Too many… walls… boundaries other annoying things to take care of. It suited some and not others, how was she taking it? What were her plans now that she was here Kattari wondered. That and more. Still Kattari had her own desires and plans, and she was planning on not staying in the low ranks for long. If she was going to participate in pack dynamics, she wanted to be at the top.
