Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Honestly, he had not thought of what they would do if she actually made her way here. He was simply drunk on being around her, even if it had been a long while since they had seen each other. He still enjoyed the feeling that was going through his body when she made her moves on him, moves he didn’t consciously understand...but certainly did on a more subtle level.

She mentions that this is his home and she wants him to show her around. He supposed that is true, but he sorta wanted to avoid his grandmother. She always seems to know what is up. But, Lucia wanted to look around, and the beach was a pretty big place. He wonders if she had ever really seen the beach. Perhaps a lake, but the beach was a very different beast...and had very different beats within it.

He could not resist her unique eyes when they seemed to light up with excitement. His own greens come alight as they romp a little. He was able to plant a lick upon her cheek, and she got him right back with her own on his nose. He laughs and cherishes the gentle touch while he can. Who knows when they will see each other again...he has to spend as much time with her as he can.

”Ah, um, come, I be showing you beach, water of salt,” he says with a nod as he motions his dark colored head. He then nips at her before bounding away. He had made sure they were on the border a bit closer to the beach so the travel would not be as far. He made sure to stay close until the dirt turned to sand and the sound of waves began to crash in the air. He turns to her as they climb up a dune. He smiles as the white clouds are fluffy up above. Once he reaches the top, he looks upon the glistening ocean that seems to go on forever.
”Have you been seeing this before?” he asked, tilting his head as he looked to her with his bright green eyes. He was curious her reaction. He half expected her to dash off and right into the water- and the last thing he wanted was for her to be washed away.
