Asriel certainly felt the bond between them, but the feelings he felt for her weren’t strong enough to send him leaping to his death for her, or doing something completely crazy otherwise. Sure she might be able to influence him, or at least encourage him to do a little more than others could for sure, but beyond that he wasn’t sure. She never tested it, he never tested it, they just had a kind of… agreement. Perhaps someday they might try their bond see what barriers they could break or push, but right now they were simply muted to one another in a way. He wouldn’t tell if she didn’t, that was how it should work right? Granted, he felt he was far more likely to fall under some issue because of something she did long before he did. After all, he learned being a peaceful good boy from no one but the best. Conflict resolution was in his blood, and sometimes it made him very good at putting on an act to be what he was always supposed to be. Maybe even give his elder sister a run for her money in talking with others.
Still he was jaded, his light tainted unlike that of his sister and mother. They were still pure in the world, innocent, he was slowly discovering it wasn’t so great out here, and the more time spent in Glorall seeing some of the more… interesting… parties around the more he realized his dad might not have been the good man his mother always believed him to be. He smelled the scent of death around the den long before he came upon it once… how was that normal? Though it seemed as though Matianak hadn’t been expecting him to get trouble, not that he thought he would have had any either. ”You left me to wonder for a moment if you hadn’t been scheming something.” He said his expression still relatively neutral, his tail giving a flick, though perhaps there was a hint of humor touching his tones.
Indifferent to everything, right now was accurate. THe wolf was learning from the ground up again how the world worked and actually was. To him, everything had been wiped clean of his mother’s soft demeanor, her light thoughts and actions and quickly was replaced with his more jaded point of view. His ears twitched slightly though as she spoke again. She gave her reasoning for coming in a roundabout way. ”So you want me to help you come up with a plan to deal with someone you don’t like?” He stated quite directly. It seemed his imprint might be a bit of a snake it seemed, but who and why she was after who she was after he didn’t know. ”I might be able to help, but it depends on who, and why.” He stated, he didn’t take her words as a joke, she did not seem like the ‘joking’ type, just as much as he wasn’t really. Sure, he could put on a facade perhaps, and he was sure a light little girl like her could as well, but he would have to see if he was right about his initial feelings. After all, while they were imprints, they were still relatively new to each other.
