Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

Tuari
I’ll Fight Until I am the last Arrow on the Battlefield

There was just something so special and amazing when she was with him. Her troubles or anything else that was bothering her just seemed to melt away. Perhaps they were not imprints, but somehow he had mended what Levi had left broken all those years ago. Sometimes, the dull ache of her broken bond still hit her, but most days anymore, when she was with her children, and Dexter, she didn’t notice at all. Even now, her sadness and worries about her brother’s slow decline ebbed away. It was still there, soon she would have to return to him, his children, but at some point she knew she would be saying goodbye to him too. The only wolf who she had for the longest time. It was painful, but she could tell he was suffering with the death of his own imprint, no matter how much he tried to fight it. Dexter had his own issues too, ones Tuari also wanted to help with if she could. After all she heard about what had happened in Iromar, and not the mention now what was going on in Asteraia too. Things were changing, and not in a good way. It seemed that for a few years now, ever since the wolfess who owned Asteraia previously, the Monster if Tuari recalled, passed away it seemed the lands had been rather unsafe ever since.

Though there was no worry about her not being safe. WIth the nightbeasts seeming to have vanished Tuari didn't’ worry about any wolves being able to over power her and her beastly powerful mate. So she was able to run around out here relatively care free, tease him into coming after her, and wriggle her black rump in the air and letting her white and golden tipped tail zip about behind her showing her cheer all the while. Even as she was pounced and she fought back against him pushing him up with all her might. It took some work, but she was able to wriggle free and take off once more. Always she was pretty light on her paws, so she got some ground on him and she egged him on after her. She was pleased when she heard him rise to challenge, her brows knitting deviously and a matching grin along with it. She weaved through the less familiar trees, but her golden ears soon were filled with the sounds of the babbling river causing her pause and swing around placing the drop off behind her and allowing her to face him looking quite mischievous all the while.

He didn’t give her a lot of time, but soon he was upon her, launching himself at her once again though this time she wasn’t so easily captured as a first. Perhaps she gave him a false sense of security letting him take her down so easily the first time, but she moved out of the way this time letting him either fly off the small drop off on his own power or if not she was still moving. Her paws carried her in a tight circle, as if she was herding around prey, and got behind him as fast as she could. Then with a good push forward, she tried to knock him off the ledge and into the water, if he wasn’t already. At least give him a little assistance.

She could feel her minor victory welling up in her chest. Her little fun trick hopefully coming to fruition though she never did count her very clever mate out before it was time. It was one of the many reasons why she adored him so after all.
