Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Excited by the thought of perhaps having found one of those mysterious siblings she'd heard so little about, Mabel's tail began to wag as she continued to nudge the pup along, pausing only when he introduced himself. It was an odd name, but then most were. She found every new name she heard to be quite peculiar. Her name, of course, was utterly perfect because it was hers and it didn't even occur to her to think that others might find it strange. Mabel was just...Mabel.

"Lar-lariobus? Lari-rio....I'm Mabel. Pretty sure you might be my brother. C'mon, Papa will know. He knows everything." Just as her brother Jaime practically worshiped Mama, Mabel was convinced that her Papa was the greatest wolf there ever was. He was the biggest, strongest, kindest man there ever was. It made her happy that he was her Papa. She didn't mind nearly as much as Mama seemed to that he had other children; she just wanted to meet them.

Moving forward once more, she pressed close to Lar's side as he shivered, lending him some of her warmth though she was starting to get a little cold as well. She continued to lead him back toward the ravine. It looked much different in the waning light but she lifted her chin and plucked up some courage since Lari was in much worse shape than she was.

"It's not too far. Promise. Can I call you Larry? Your name is kind of hard to say." Finding herself oddly chatty, Mabel pressed onward leading him the best she could back to the den, pausing every now and then to try and get her bearings. She'd done a bit of exploring but usually it was during the day so she wasn't as confident as she might have been as dusk settled over the land.
