Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

EREBOS
we're all devoid believing we're fallen angels when really we're all just empty vessels

Father Eden had been… busy. Again.

Erebos could smell the scent of birth in the land, it was strong and pungent and always brought his nose to crickle. Never did he pay much mind to the children his father had created after him, which had been plenty. He spotted the grey boy once or twice, and some of his other younger children with the silent woman, but he did not feel anything for them as he had felt with Elohim or Ehiyeh. They were his true siblings, the ones he knew he could rely on and be there for, but… part of him felt bad for feeling such a way. He was still trying to understand how to be… normal, or at least act as such to better fit in with the rest of the pack. He was still very much a hermit, but also wanted strongly to do something useful for his father. Thus far the only thing Erebos was good at was collecting ‘friends’. The stench of death and decay clung to him, it was something that would never leave his pelt for his friends were the dead. They left him when they were basically gone to the earth. A creature desperate for food during these lean times tried to take one recently… Erebos turned him into a friend too. He was his newest friend, a silver furred fox that currently was slung over the rather giant male’s body as he made his way down the beach.

Food had been scarce… no crabs, no fish. The brute solly depended on fish for his meals, cause he would not eat friends, he would starve before eating those close to him, and it was that hunger that drove him to the ocean today in an attempt to catch some sea fish, crabs or something to fill his stomach. Even the ocean here seemed to have nothing for him though. That was when his dark ears twitched at the sound of laughter, children’s laughter. He paused, ice and fire eyes looking up the coast-line to see two children along the water. He stared for a moment, watching as one snuck up upon the other until finally launching itself at the other. They were his father’s newest brood of children, two of them at least. Should he… do something? He was their sibling… their blood, he should probably treat them, and feel for them as he did his littermates yet even as he watched them play he didn’t feel anything.

Why?

He didn’t understand why he didn’t feel anything, but perhaps it would be explained if he were to get a little closer. The large brute lumbered forward, watching them carefully feeling very… out of place as he usually did but only more so as he went closer. There was no missing him by now, his huge form, and the horrid odor that came along with him, making him smell like death itself. He might have been terrifying if it wasn’t for an oddly innocent curious look that touched his features even as there was a dead silver fox slung over his back.

”Hello, other children of Father Eden.” He starts, in his oddly smooth tennor voice. For all that it was worth, the brute was somewhat handsome and certainly did take after Eden in some points. ”I am Erebos, one of your eldest of siblings.” It was… right to introduce himself, oh and his friend too. ”This is newest friend. Keeping me company today while I hunt.” Yes, he did a good job of that. He was certain, he was almost expecting a positive response from the children. Surely he was getting the paw of this whole ‘being normal’ thing.
