The movement of her sister's stirring slowly roused Melee from sleep. For a time her body seemed to fight it, and she swam back and forth between consciousness and dreams. Eventually the waking world won out, however, and her jade eyes blinked blearily in the dim light of the den. Lifting her head, she looked over her brother's still snoozing form just in time to see Swifttalon clamoring towards the mouth of the den and the wolf that laid there. Rolling up onto one hip, she promptly slumped over to the other side and rested her chin on her brother's shoulder. She yawned widely, lips pressing together and pulling apart sleepily before she blinked up at the den mouth once more. Was that...?

As soon as the realization struck her, any notion of falling back into another snooze evaporated into thin air. She clawed her way to her feet, quite possibly stepping on Eldrax in her hurry to follow Swifttalon to greet their grandmother. Skittering up the slight incline, she made no attempts to sneak as her sister had. Instead, she was completely brazen and promptly jumped upon Daenerys' flowing gray tail. Her sharp little puppy teeth sank into the long fur, nipping playfully at the appendage that had moments before been wagging back and forth along the ground.

This did not keep Melee's attention for long, however, and the girl quickly jumped up and toddled over to her grandmother's face. She giggled at the way Swifttalon lay with all four paws in the air, but was quick as ever to seek their grandmother's attention for herself. Licking at the grey chin that was held aloft, the golden girl danced back and forth on her little paws, occasionally jumping up to reach her. Finally she relented, moving to plop her body down either on top of her sister or next to her before her jade eyes peered upwards. "Morning, gramma!" she chirruped, her bum wiggling back and forth with excitement. After all, a day with Grandma was always a day full of fun!
