Daylight Savings Time resumes this Sunday AM/ going to year-round? Posted on March 7, 2018 at 09:11:20 AM by Jeff "Laca" Conway
Daylight Savings Time goes back into action this Sunday at 2am. But it may end up year round. Both the House and Senate passed the bill which is now going to Governor Rick Scott to sign off on.
But that doesn't mean it's a done deal - it will then have to go to the U.S. Congress who will have the final vote on the issue. Since the 1966 law was passed, two states are now on standard time year-round - Hawaii and most of Arizona. Florida would be different and go on Daylight Savings Time year round. Expect it to pass. Otherwise, November 4th it would be back to standard time again for a few months. Replies: There have been no replies.
