It's back! We are pleased to be holding another posting contest. This is not mandatory, but if you're interested in some great prizes you should definitely consider joining in!
If you're not familiar with it or have forgotten how it works, the basic idea is that you will get points for every post that you write, and the players that have the most points by the end will win a prize.
RULES
1. Every in-character post is worth 1 point as long as it is at least 200 words long (note-style posts do not count).
2. Every roleplayed battle post (excluding the initial challenge and any note-style responses) is worth 5 points, regardless of the outcome. Dice roll battles do not count.
3. Every raid and escape attempt is worth 5 points for everyone involved - regardless of the outcome - from the point the raid or escape is initiated, up to (and including) the block. This is for the raid as a whole rather than each individual post. Any reaction post that follows the block is worth the usual 1 point.
4. To participate, simply reply to this thread (make sure you use a password so that you can update the same post) and tally up your posts and points over the next week. Make sure that you provide a link to each post as evidence so that we can check the totals are correct before we announce the winners.
PRIZES
The winners of the contest (first, second, and third place) will win a prize of their choice. These prizes cover just about every aspect of the game and include advantages in battles and raids, protecting your territories, and in customizing any future foals just the way you want them. We will provide the full list of available prizes when we announce the winners, but you can search for previous contests to see examples of the prizes we offer. Those who win prizes have their winnings listed on the legends page for reference; these are struck through once they have been used.
This contest will run for exactly a week's time, starting now until March 17th (the same board time as when this was posted). Any posts made after that point will not count, so be sure you have all your links tallied up before then so there are no delays.
