Perhaps surprisingly he wasn’t looking for his lazy bones brother. Sans was doing Sans things and Vayrus was already well away of his super slacking off. He didn’t even report to the Lady Bewilderbeasts! Didn’t he want to be AWESOME. Well that’s okay, Vayrus could be cool enough to make up for it. Ashur and Dagon could help too! They at least weren’t so lazy that they would rather starve than catch themselves some dinner! So what was he doing out here then? Scouting! He was going to be the Rumblehorn! He was taking his training SUPER seriously. They protected the borders and the pack mates from all the bad things! They were basically HEROS. So here he was strutting his stuff just outside the border, or he thought he was just outside the border when in reality he was growing a little further than he ought too, BUT it was the thought that counted! After all he was doing this all on his own, no one asked him too! He was just on the lookout for any bad things and then he would capture it! How… well he would figure it out later.
Right now he was just sniffing around, no real set pattern, just more ADD than anything. First one tree than the next, then a ROCK and oh was that a bird!? Bark at the bird! Tell it to shoo! Bark at the bird he did and shoo it off he very much did as well, carrying on with his high shrill tones following it tree to tree until it soared over the river. Well even then he TRIED to follow it. He ran right off the bank and flopped face first into the water. With a resounding SPLOOSH the skinny boy was underwater, confused and flailing his long legs until he had his russet head above the surface. With a gasp he looked around yelling at the bird but really it was just the air, ”I’ll GET YOU NEXT TIME. NO ONE WILL GET PAST THE GREAT VAYRUS!” He paddled toward the shore, shaking off his very gangly body, his slender form looking even more skeletal soaked as he was.
Even dripping wet and sort of defeated, but not really, because he LET that bird get away, he trotted over to the bank to which he had, knowingly jumped off, not fell, and looked at the water. Wait… water? Was he not in Spirane? He was by the river the river wasn’t IN Spirane! Well this was certainly a problem! He would go back soon then, there was nothing at the borders he would make sure there was nothing close by too! That was his job was to protect the pack after all! Puffing out his chest he looked around again with his everlasting grin on his face, tail waving though it was more like a whip currently, ready to finish his out of pack patrol!
