During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

Fear Makes People Do Terrible Things

_________________________________________________________________________

The young male began his slow travels back to his home pack, even though he felt that it wasn’t quite time to go back. He had been out of the packlands for some time now, and he still had not gotten the chance to speak with the alpha of Graes Waegholm, but he had been away from home for too long at this point. And he had not completely ignored his task to go out and explore other packs. Lupin had gone to Graes Waegholm and met with a wolf, but their meeting had been short as the other pack wolf left. The male had stuck around for a bit looking for the alpha, but Siku had not been around. And that was what had led him to meet Rogan. The young brute had never met a vampire before, and the interaction was basically what he had expected. His feelings about it on the other hand were not what he had anticipated. He remembered the immediate fear that had entered him when he saw that the wolf that had stopped him was one of these mythical vampires. For a moment Lupin thought that this would be the end, that he would not stand a chance to defend himself against such a cold blooded killer, but that had not been the case.

While the fear lingered within him, there was something else that swept through him as he stood in front of the stranger. Some sort of connection between the two was made, one that Lupin didn’t understand. At least not yet. When the vampire did bite and feed from the young male, it confirmed the stories he had heard. That these wolves were only out for blood. But at the same time, he had expected Rogan to drain him dry. And that had not been the case. Lupin indeed did feel sick and lightheaded, as anyone who lost blood would, but he never felt as if he was going to die. So maybe the stories he heard weren’t entirely true. If the vampires killed all the wolves out there, there would be nothing for them to feed from. So maybe that was the sole reason for keeping him alive, but for some reason he felt that it was something more than that. But he had no reason why he felt that way. Somehow Lupin had escaped the vampire, whether it was because Rogan allowed him to or because he was just lucky, he could not say. But regardless he was on his way home.

Lupin was unsure if Milo would be upset that he was coming back with no information to report about Graes Waegholm, but his interaction with Rogan had been distraction enough for him to forget his original purpose of leaving Wudubearo. But he would go back out after checking in at home and meet with Siku and wouldn’t let his pack down. He had not done much for the pack as of yet, and he didn’t want his first task to be a failure. As Lupin’s paws crossed back into home, he felt more at ease in the dense and thick foliage. It was like constant evening here, the trees and leaves so thick that it blocked out most of the sun’s light from getting through. But that was how Lupin preferred it. If he could only be awake at night he would be happiest. But this was the next best thing, and part of what made Wudubearo feel like home. As he walked through the trees, the vocals of Milo reached his audettes. It seemed that he had gotten home just in time to answer the queen’s call. His direction turned to attend the meeting that Milo was calling, a pained feeling running through him when he realized that Anastasia, the one friend he had made here, would not be in attendance this time. But he could try and make some new friends within the pack to fill the void.

As the scarred brute turned the corner to see who else had come to answer Milo’s call, he was shocked at what he saw. He knew that magic was real and alive in the forest, there was no way to den that. But he had not seen it in the form that he saw on Milo yet. There were pink feathers along her spine, and not just sitting there from a bird, but actually intertwined with her fur and a part of her. It was a very unique site to see. His light brown orbs lingered on the queen for a moment before sweeping around to see who else had gathered. It seemed that pups were an abundance in the pack now as there were two females with a litter. Kahlan was there with two male pups, and Kirastasia was there was three pups of her own. His gaze double backed to the femme, she had some additional features of her own. Her stilts were covered in colorful scales, another feature that he had not seen on another varg. He did not know the brute that was standing near Kirastasia, but he figured by the way that he held himself that maybe he was her mate. He knew little about the three females in the pack, other than their names really.

Feeling slightly awkward about his lack of pack interactions with anyone, Lupin forced his stilts forward, nodding in greeting to the other pack members as he approached Milo. ”Milo, it is good to see you again.” He bowed respectfully to the alphess before he turned to face the other two females and their families. Lupin took a step closer towards the stranger, introducing himself to the new pack member who was named Drizzt. ”Hello Drizzt, I do not believe we have met. My name is Lupin.” He nodded to the male with startling blue orbs before looking down to the pups and giving them a smile. He did not have much experience with pups, and was unsure how to interact with them. Padding a few paces away from the family, he sat down, his focus back on the alphess.
