I sorry for the feelz (not really). I'm good at doing sad angst or super happiness so I had an easy time picturing poor Verdi all alone on a blustery day.
I'm going to confess something: I wrote his opening post without having read your thread about finding Bri. XD After you said in chat that the thread was finished, I went and read it and I even amazed myself that I kept Verdi's post vague enough that it fit as the aftermath of that thread. I can't usually do vague because I need to be able to picture the scene.
And yesssss, can't wait for the boys' club! I've never had a colt with a super close brotherly relationship and I already love Jabari. :D Just as an fyi, Verdi's gonna be kinda awkward around his dad once he grasps what happened...he's gonna think that Bri's death was his fault and he's gonna be convinced for a while that Sham hates him, and there will probably always be a little part of him that hates himself.
On the nurse mare front, I would offer Aurora but she's got Psych's twins so it probably wouldn't be a good idea to have her in the Prairie. XD
On a somewhat related note, I was planning on finally posting Nymphadora in the Prairie (without a solid plan I have a really hard time starting threads so that's why she's been a no-show), but then I realized I wasn't sure if Sham would be in the right kind of mood to talk to her. If she saw his distress, she'd be almost desperate to make him feel better because she hates conflict, but I wouldn't want to force her presence on him. So if you think Sham's too fragile at the moment, I'll happily hold off and focus on Verdi. <333 Replies:
