"Beware..." scream the birds from above you. "She kills for games. She kills for fun." Something deep inside tells you to listen. Your body tells you not to go no further. Do you listen or do you dare move into the pack borders. This could be a life or death decision...

Follow the Queen, or become a corpse that lines her border. The choice lies with you.

a vexatious kiss

Left; left; left, right, left.

The soft repetition of words uttered breathlessly under closed lips. Nearly black paws paced back and forth to this rhythm, the soft earth took the beating of her paws ceaselessly. A trail was slowly being etched away under her restless paws. The mind-numbing repetition sent her chaotic mind into a dulled roar as she paced. The churning sounds of her paws sinking into that grotesquely boggish earth deafening her to the sounds of her own internal screams. But they were still there, the never ending calls for her mother, who no longer was. The long nights she had spent in mourning over the only woman who had ever given her the chance to take life into her own paws. She wanted retribution. She wanted him to pay for what he had done. Diosa knew in the back of her mind that what she wanted was Draven’s death. She wanted him to suffer through the same brutal a horrendous death he had given Lucyne. The Princess of Caidir wanted that bastard to suffer an agonizing death but she also wanted rip away his life without a second to spare. Even if the dead could not speak, she did not want his existence to be remembered. He did not deserve a legacy, not even for the unspeakable acts he committed.

Draven was better off forgotten, or so Diosa thought.

Diosa knew that Lucyne had truly been no better than him, she had been in aligned to his plans. Until she had lost her most prized child and heir. Thrown into that tumultuous state of her life she had lost all control. Madness seeped into every crevice of her being, leaving Diosa scrambling around to fix the messes that she created. To clean up the bloody trail of victims she left behind her as she tore through Blossom Forest. Many of them were just loners who had been out at the wrong time, but it made Diosa no less upset to see bodies shredded away. Lucyne had taken a liking to not just feeding, but also playing with her victims. Diosa had spent too many nights cleaning up before the dawn of the next day and there had been days where she had had to slip into the caverns or other dark places during the day because it had taken her so long to clean up. It had made the princess sick to her stomach on multiple occasions to see the havoc the Vampire Queen had wrecked. Eventually though Diosa had developed a more or less iron stomach after countless nights doing this. After her mother’s disappearance Diosa had been concerned but figured she and Draven had slipped away for some fun, until the day she had discovered Lucyne’s carcass splayed across the border. Then her whole world had turned upside down leaving her clueless and hopeless about the future.

A lot had happened in the last few weeks that Diosa was still comprehending, but today she needed a break from that monotonous train of thought she had been stuck on. It seemed though that she would be stuck regardless because after so much pacing no one had showed. Diosa paused in her stride and glanced around, her head dropped lower. She shook her head, no one was coming…

Suddenly there was cracks and snaps of branches echoing, Diosa’s crown rose up her rubies glowing brighter as the immenant stranger came closer. Diosa? Is that you? A soft and familiar feminine voice reached her audits and the princess couldn’t help the small bark of happiness that escaped her mouth. Kahleesi! You came back! Diosa bounded towards the femme and skidded to a stop just before her tail wagging happily to see her. I thought you’d never return, I was sure I’d scared you away from here… It’s so good to see you though! How’ve you been? She spouted off questions, before her attention was caught by the speckling across her back. Kahleesi when did you sprout feathers from your back? Are you part bird now? Diosa looked to the healer for answers. A faint smile teased her lips, she had never been so happy to see a familiar face.
